Who writes this content

All articles on this website are written by me, Laiba Arshad, and are intended to provide accessible, evidence-informed psychology education. I aim to present psychological information clearly while staying mindful of the limits of the available evidence.

Evidence-informed writing

I draw on credible sources, including peer-reviewed research, academic books and textbooks, professional psychological organizations, recognized health organizations, and government or institutional guidance where appropriate. Articles include references where relevant, allowing readers to explore the evidence behind the information presented.

Evidence and uncertainty

Psychology is a developing science, and responsible writing should reflect that. I distinguish between well-established findings, emerging research, mixed or uncertain evidence, psychological theories, and practical interpretation. When evidence is limited or conflicting, I make that clear rather than presenting uncertain information as fact. Population-specific considerations, such as age, culture, and clinical context, are noted where relevant.

Responsible scope

Content on this website is currently educational and informational. It is not a diagnosis, psychological assessment, therapy, or individualized treatment plan. Articles about mental health conditions aim to explain them responsibly and do not encourage self-diagnosis. Where appropriate, readers are encouraged to seek support from a qualified mental health professional.
